Extract Text From Document

Turn an uploaded document into plain text for the agent wizard.

purpose=knowledge (default) fills the “Knowledge & FAQ” box. That text is baked into the system prompt, so the upload is capped (see MAX_UPLOAD_BYTES); bigger documents belong in the agent’s Knowledge Base tab, which chunks and retrieves instead of inlining.

purpose=script reads a call script for “I have a call script”. The script is distilled by the model rather than inlined, so it has its own, larger limits (MAX_SCRIPT_UPLOAD_BYTES, MAX_SCRIPT_TEXT_CHARS).
